“Judge Amy Lorenzini was the judge in a civil case I was the defendant in and some pieces were directed judgments from her and a final piece ended in jury trial. Not all her decisions went how I wanted or would have liked. She corrected me when I was sassy in the trial portion. She was also empathetic when I became overcome with emotion too and was patient when I helped the plaintiff’s lawyer get his “evidence” against me on a hard drive for the jury so we could all eventually go home. It was the first (and hopefully only) time I had been sued. I saw fairness, mindful execution of the law, command of her court room, and absolute poise and dedication to her calling. In what was an absolute horrible experience for me (and again Judge Lorenzini did not always decide on my side) I saw a Judge that I am proud to have representing St. Marys County firsthand. She has my vote!!”
